Winter Camp '10

Sorry sorry sorry.
I haven't blogged in FOREVER, ugh!
So let me tell you a little bit about WINTER CAMP!

Ashlyn couldn't go.
Joshua got sick and couldn't go.
I couldn't believe it. I was so upset and
so afraid of being alone. I have other friends
but none that I am close to. A week before camp,
I prayed continually that just one girl and I would become
close. I prayed for a godly girl that I could be myself around.
But I also prayed that I wouldn't sulk around if God decided he just
wanted me to be alone with him that weekend. I wanted my eyes to be
completly off myself and my needs, and focus on others and the Lord.

As usual, God worked in ways unimaginable. He brought me closer to Emma,Rachel, and Mikaylah. Those girls make me laugh so much. It was fun to just be a girl and just get to focus
on pouring into girls. God taught me alot. Pastor Casey Kendall was HILARIOUS! And totally made the Word clear and taught in a way that made us feel closer to him. He has such a gift.
Honestly, the weekend was the refreshment that I needed, although I missed my home! ;)
The worship was great. The girl who sang had an incredible voice! AND Danyew was AMAZINGGGG! He is so confident in what the Lord had told him to say! He rocked out with just his guitar and his vocals were awesome!

Our cabins: SO MUCH BETTER THAN JR.HIGH CAMP!! Lol. We had a ok cabin for Jr.High but the cabin we got this year had lockers to hang our clothes in. And was connected to the dining hall.
